Frequently Asked Questions
HALAL & DIETARY
-
Yes, completely. Every protein we serve — chicken and paneer — is HMC certified halal. We don’t serve alcohol, and there are no non-halal items anywhere on our menu. You can eat here with full confidence.
-
HMC stands for the Halal Monitoring Committee — the strictest halal certification body in the UK. Unlike some other certifiers, HMC requires hand slaughter without pre-stunning, with a trained Muslim slaughterman present for every individual animal. It’s the gold standard for halal, recognised and trusted by mosques and the Muslim community across the UK.
-
Everything. Our chicken is HMC certified, our paneer is vegetarian, and we don’t use any non-halal ingredients anywhere in our kitchen. No cross-contamination concerns.
-
No. Tikkas is fully alcohol-free.
-
Yes. All five of our signature tikka flavours — Angara, Classic, Lassuni, Hariyali, and Malai — are available with paneer tikka. The rice bowl, wrap, and standalone tikkas can all be made vegetarian.
-
Unfortunately no. The vegetarian tikkas are made with paneer, which is dairy.
-
Our tikkas, rice bowls, salad bowls and tikkas & chips are naturally gluten-free. The wrap uses a flour tortilla, so that’s not suitable for gluten-free customers. If you have a serious gluten intolerance or coeliac disease, please let us know and we’ll advise you carefully.
-
We do not use nuts in any of our tikka marinades. Please speak to a member of our team before ordering if you have any allergies. We take allergens seriously and can walk you through our ingredients in detail.
-
It depends on what you choose. We have five flavours ranging from mild to hot. Malai is silky and creamy with no heat. Hariyali is herbaceous and zesty. Lassuni is garlicky with mild warmth. Classic is a medium, well-rounded tikka. Angara is our hottest — fiery and bold. You can mix flavours in one order, so you’re in control of the heat.
-
No. We don’t use any artificial colours or flavour enhancers. Everything is made fresh daily with real ingredients.
